ED,
I confirm that the US Postal Services taxes are amongst the most expensive I have seen (the other one being Holland). Last time I purchased a photograph in the USA, they charged me US$ 15 bucks to send it to Brazil....more than the image itself.
Last time I purchased an image from Germany, 10 Euros with shipping fees, the Brazilian Custom Office charged me 60% plus other taxes (totalling 30 Euros) for setting the image free, saying am Importing foreign products! World is getting crazy nowadays and everyone wants to bite their amount...we, at the end of the chain, we do pay the prices, sadly.

For those who miss it on the Axis Wings thread, all has gone to the Editor who has checked all and that will be off to the designer next week. The hot of the Press news is it will include ALL KNOWN KG 40 accidents and losses (63 extra A4 pages and 27,000 words covering 522 aircraft 60-100% damage, 384 aircraft 10-59% damage, 1,623 aircrew killed or missing, 135 POW, 251 injured.
