Heinkel aircraft types and their top scorers

Good morning Gentlemen,

I tried to compile the top scorers of all Heinkel aircraft types that scored kills and their scores in these types:
  • He 51: Herwig Knüppel, 6 kills
  • He 111: Günther Bertram, 14 kills
  • He 112: Miguel Entrena Klett, at least 1 kill
  • He 177: Richard Kranz, at least 1 kill
  • He 219: Ernst-Wilhelm Modrow, 33 kills
Did anybody ever score more than one kills with the He 112 ?

Cheers,

Michael

Re: Heinkel aircraft types and their top scorers

Wouldn't call Kranz of II./KG 40 a top scorer with one kill (confirmed) and no evidence of any more kills. II./KG 40 also claimed fighters on 26 Nov 43 while the last He 177 success could be Hptm Hans-Joachim Stolte of 2./KG 40 of a P-61. Again, I can see no pilot claiming more than one

Good evening Michel and Chris,

thanks for your posts.
It's interesting that the Romanian He 112 had some success.

I don't know the names of the He 115 scorers.
Hans-Joachim Stolte shot down a P-61 ?
I thought that the Black Widow had no losses in aerial combat at all.
If you tell me the date I'll check the P-61 book by Jeff Kolln.

Best greetings from Switzerland,
Michael

Re: Heinkel aircraft types and their top scorers

Good evening Chris,

the chronology part of Jeff Kolln's book has no entry for 14Aug1945.
With this incident it looks as if the P-61 wasn't as invincible as I previously thought.

I wish you a good start into the weekend,

Michael
