Request for info. Ripley Ogden Jones - 126 Squadron RAF

Served in World War II as a Flight Lieutenant in the 126th Squadron, British Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Died on a mission over Malta on October 17, 1942.
He is also commemorated on the Malta Memorial in Valletta, Southern Harbour, Malta.

I am trying to find out (if possible) the circumstances of his loss, also if there is any more information on his service in WW2.

Any help appreciated. Cheers, Neil

PS. Also, if I wanted to.research any further pilots, where is the best point of contact to view/request RAF records?
