Re: Photos Caudron Aircraft

Hello,

Another difficult to read STAe number on a Caudron, first two digits either 43 or 45,last two digits 13 or 15. The machine is a Caudron G.6 and can also be seen from a different angle in Soltan and Davilla

The seller also has a few other aircraft related photos including a couple of less frequently seen machines

Well Clint

Want my opinion? Oh you do?

I think it looks like 4313. All I do now is waiting for Nick to shoot me down....

Cheers

Re: Photos Caudron Aircraft

Hi Clint. The weight table lower on the tail is "PU 300" ( useful load) so the serial looks like 4313; French 5s had a gap in the top stroke (unless re-marked). Compare with the Nieuport 17 numbers.

PC 200 at the bottom (fuel load).

Nick Sorry Stig, just missed you ! Can't see a cross bar on the 3rd. number....
