Phil Butler - War Prizes
Gents,
From a posting on the www.secretprojects.co.uk website it appears that Phil Butler (“War Prizes”) passed away on 26 September 2024. Here is the link: https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/thr...5/#post-715331. This is quite a loss to those researching all Axis machines captured and their ultimate fates. Phil never hesitated to assist those sharing his passion and welcomed any bit of new information that added to our knowledge of these aircraft. He will be missed. Best, David

Re: Phil Butler - War Prizes
What a shame. I had been aware that he had health issues in more recent times.
Phil was an assiduous researcher and I was happy to help him from time to time with his research and he was always willing to reciprocate. |
