................and each card has to be flipped to see if there are entries on the back that have to be digitized. If done manually, one very hard-working person might be able to churn out 5,760 cards per day or 1,440,000 cards per year. Front and back, 60-million card pages or surfaces would take c. 41.67 years. Not impossible, but costly if the number of workers were hired to do the job in a much shorter period of time. It sure would be a valuable treasure for the researcher if it could be done.
