Bill Stone has posted news of a new comprehensive history of WWII.

It has been 13 years since Max Hastings and Antony Beevor presented their WWII tomes: All Hell Let Loose: The World At War 1939–1945 (2011) [US edition - Inferno: The World at War, 1939-1945] and The Second World War (2012).

I expect that Scorched Earth will not be unlike previous volumes.
