Re: Crashed JU52 "G6*CC" in May 1941 over Crete.
The pic in the greek magazine is indicating seaplanes is right with december 1941. There are no yellow balkan/crete campaign markings (tail rudders, engine cowlings etc.) visible, but insteed a yellow theatre band. These were introduced with barbarossa in june 1941.
KGrzbV102 served on the eastern front right from the beginn of barbarossa and then was sent to Italy in late december 1941 for a short period only - before returning to the eastern front again. ATB Armin Last edited by cheruskerarmin; 10th April 2012 at 15:01. Reason: typpo |
