Iron Cross Recepients

Is there an 'official" site listing World War I iron Corss Recepients, hopefully with dates and citations? If not, is there an official German government website where such data can be pursued?

Check out the two sites listed below. With both check out their forums which deal specifically with WW1. On GMiC there should be an area specifially for the WW1 EK's.

I seem to recall a list of EK awards for WW1 but it may be for the number awarded versus a comprehensive list of recipients and dates and this then only for the EK1.

Research into the recipients for both wars have been stopped and started over the years but the time involved to put such lists together have usually made them become pipe dreams at a certain point.
