Hello Christian,

It is the well-known Spit I K9664 shot down on 15 august 1940 by Lt G. Muller-Duhe (7./JG26)

A/C lost close to Calais-MArck.

Hurricane P2537 belonged to 79 Sqn and is recorded as 'lost in France' May 1940.

Its hard to tell whether its been stripped of bits to repair other Hurricance of suffered damage by ground crew to stop it being used by the Germans.

Sgt Truhlar, 313 (Czechoslovak) Sqn, wounded & POW
Calais area, 10/4/1942

Another pictures of AA865 exist too.

Spitfire Mk.VB AA865 (RY-D), No 313 (Czech) Sqdn, shot down on 10 Apr 1942 by Fw 190 flown by Fw. Karl Willius od 3./JG 26 during Rodeo over Pas-de-Calais, Sgt Vaclav Truhlar WiA/PoW (1943 repatriated), exact crash location: beach Oye-Plage, 13 km ESE Calais.
