110 Euros for that bog-standard Bf 110 E with no unit ID! The only thing going for it is the rails to carry the SD2 bombs under the wings.

Re: eBay: German intrest
Hi Guys
Can I have an opinion with regard to the code on this He 111 H https://www.ebay.de/itm/R160-Foto-We...gAAOSwfbxegOZu Seller has been saying A1+GH on every related photo he is selling, without showing any aircraft carrying it (as far as I can see) When he finally thus do so, I believe I see +HS and not GH Anyone else?? Re: eBay: German intrest
Stig,
Fiddled with image and agree with you. W.Nr appears to be 8052 (and then I read the e-bay item heading! Doh!), perhaps this can be traced via the loss lists or Matti's Db? Stay Safe

Re: eBay: German intrest
For He 111, 8052 I have the following:
1944-04-15, 9./KG 55, He 111 H-11, 8052, G1+ET, Bahnhof Sarny Flugzeugführer Fw Engster, Paul, vermißt Kampfbeobachter Uffz Strauß, Reinhold, vermißt Bordfunker Uffz Gärtner, Ernst, vermißt Bordwart Uffz Lechelt, Otto, vermißt Bordschütze Uffz Schmitz, Kaspar, vermißt Absturz brennend und Aufschlagbrand. Bruch 100 %. It may have had a belly landing in 1943 in 8./KG 53, if the code was A1+HS. An other possibility is that it was operated by 8./KG 55 and had code G1+HS, before transfer to 9./KG 55. It was built probably in Dec 42/Jan 43, so there was enough time for different speculations. Matti |
