Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Hi,

I wonder if it wasn't one among the many JG53 machines received by JG300 ...

Cheers, Franck.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

The halftrack gun mounting position appears to be unique. The alternative-fuel tank appears to have a Christie suspension, which makes me wonder who the original owner was. I have seen photos of several Natters abandoned in (moved into?) a field with a non-descript building nearby.

Thank you, Snautzer.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Hello gentlemen!

Most of these planes were captured by US- or british troops.
Is there a source available which shows airfields in the southwest
of Germany which were taken by french soldiers?
Neuhausen ob Eck, Mengen, Reichenbach ,Risstissen,....

Thank you in advance!

Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben,

Wolfgang
