Re: SCREWBALL BEURLING

Hi Mark

Softcover (with specially commissioned painting), 165 pages, black/white photos (not sure how many are previously unpublished), colour profiles of Malta Spitfires (by acclaimed Richard Caruana); complete victory claims list, record of all known operational flights - and signed by me, the author!

What more could you ask for?!!!

Airmail small packet to Canada - £6.27 (Royal Mail standard charge), so £21.27 all told.

PayPal briancull@author.freeserve.co.uk

I look forward to your order.

Cheers
Brian

Re: SCREWBALL BEURLING

Hello.

I have just received my copy. (last Saturday)

As usual, with Brian, it's almost perfect. A very good and vivid research.

The book has a good looking, with some new photographs. All you want to know about Beurling, is on this book. A very interesting approach of this subject. Brian gave us to learn more.

1000 Bravos!!! Brian

Re: SCREWBALL BEURLING

Hi Brian,

I started reading your book and it seems very well reserched; the complete list of Beurling's flights is very interesting.

Please I have two questions:

1- photo on pag.106 shows Beurling in the cockpit of his plane with around 19 kill markings on the cowling; this spitfire is not his MA585 KH-B (letter "K" is not there as it was in the MA585) so could it be a Spitfire flown with 249 Sqn in Malta? If so, could it be T-L EP706 (even if the kill markings on the color profile do not match)?

2-Beurling was always quoted to have shoot down 31 and 1 shared enemy planes, but I found in the list in your book only 30+1; have I missed some one?

Thank you,
regards
Flavio
