Re: Bf 109 V25
Uh oh....
That sounds not good. More confusion then before. Thank you very much for your replies. Are there any informations about the type of test's are made with the planes? E V25 1930 D-IVKC NB+NG 09.39 That is helpful, because my guess was going in that direction for this plane. To bad the Stammkennzeichen is not full visible... https://me109.info/web.php?a=e&l=en&n=ua&f=634 Can we be sure that the airfames did exist twice with the same V-number? Can it be, that the heavy modified airframes just become new WNr.'s? Are informations known about the fates of the "first" airframes? And btw, there is a special publication on the book market about the V-planes. I don't got it, because I'm not sure to get any new informations from it. https://www.amazon.de/Messerschmitt-.../dp/3866191391 "Dieses Buch wird einiges, was Sie glauben von der Bf 109 zu wissen, auf den Kopf stellen." Also the twice V number fact/theory? Thank you all! David

Re: Bf 109 V25
The NB+NG was used by JFS 2 in Magdeburg-Süd (documented 12/41 - 06/42). In the FB Friedmann is an interesting annotation: 10.06.1942 -- "Umschulung Bf 109V".

Re: Bf 109 V25
That is the V22 (#1) WNr. 1800 (former D-IRRQ) Only the NB+NH is not yet confirmed by documents, or? Just this photo.

Re: Bf 109 V25
Frank
Thank's for very interesting photos!! David Me being the underdog here with minor Bf 109 knowledge compared with all of you, I still find Gerhard's theory more plausible, so yes two different aircraft carrying the same V numbers. Otherwise you need to explain why (after a substantial rebuild without any new WNr) they all of a sudden decided at some point, now we are giving these aircraft a new WNr. From your own claims we can see that in 1942 WNr 1930 is still not fully updated to F-standard. So what modifications did Messerschmitt (or sub-contractor) do to finally make a new WNr necessary? Rasmussen If you still follow this thread, can you please - using your Flugbücher - give us dates to your previous input? I have to confess I find this thread very, very interesting so thanks everyone for taking part. Cheers Stig |

Re: Bf 109 V25
Your picture doesn't show the "V25, VK+AC" ... have a look under the wing - there is an "N".
The NB+NH I have in 06 - 07/42 in JFS 2 too (as "V22" in flight log Fritz Müller) --- so probably both planes were in the same flight school at the same time. Last edited by Rasmussen; 14th September 2019 at 14:14. |

Yes, it is the V22 WNr. 1800. It got the special spinner air intake for the circle oil cooler system.
