From Michael Molkentin's, Fire In The Sky - The Australian Flying Corps in the First World War: During November and December 1916, Eric Harrison organised the squadron. It would be officially known as No. 67 (Australian) Squadron, Royal Flying Corps, although colloquially (and in January 1918, officially) it was No. 1 Squadron AFC.
