Re: Junkers 86Z (B) in Manchukuo

Ahh, but then you have to know where to find them.....

Yes the Ju 86 is a tricky beast to come to terms with. I know you have declined to do something about
it yourself (except the Swedish bit!!), and I can see why....

Cheers

That's me in the Flugzeugforum (Junkers-Peter) and in post #2 I listed the W-Nrs that I know of. But I don't know what M-registration the planes got in Asia.

Aha (I did have my suspicions... )

Yes I found them (after I put my question....)
Any particular reason you listed M-213 as WNr 0483? Since it was the 4th why not M-214?

Cheers

Re: Junkers 86Z (B) in Manchukuo

My thoughts were:

M-210 = 0480
M-211 = 0481
M-212 = 0482
M-213 = 0483
M-214 = 0484
M-215 to M-219 = 0491 to 0495
M-220 to M-223 = 0505 to 0508

But was there even a M-210? I don't know.

Re: Junkers 86Z (B) in Manchukuo

I see Peter

Well as far as is known, no MKKK registration range began with a 0, ie no M-10,
no M-50, no M-100
and so on. It was only if the number of aircraft ordered/used were more than 10, then you had the
digit 0 within, so M-20, M-60 and so on, including M-220 but not M-210.
Photos exist of M-211 to M-215, M-220, M-222 and M-223.
There has been a speculation that also a M-224 should exist, but so far no photo/document
evidence for that.
But with 14 delivered, there should be a M-224 as I see it.

Cheers
Stig
