Re: USAF crash site

dont know if this is any use but ive seen mention of a Hudson that crashed just south of the village of Moggerhanger. might have nothing to do with your search, tho.

Re: USAF crash site

ive had a search and managed to find the reference. not much detail. its on the BBCs WW2 Peoples War site. this page. after the account of the collision between the Stirling and US fighter
http://www.bbc.co.uk/ww2peopleswar/s...a6097304.shtml
its an account of a couple of crashes around that area by someone who lived there during the war.

Re: USAF crash site

Many Thanks. It might be another read herring, as there is a few miles between Moggerhanger & Northill, and the crash site I'm after is not quite in a line between them... but...

http://www.lostbombers.co.uk/ has no record of it, but then it only has 1 Hudson listed

I will plough back through my other sources to see if I can find this one.
