Breslau was a German city at that time, as was Danzig. Merely changing names and moving borders does not change that. Similarly, you can call Koenigsberg Kaliningrad until the cows come home, but I'll still call it by its real name.

Was Carganico of Italian extraction, seems reading names of the crews , many "klingen" italian, not less than french names, our infamous Huguenots

Between 22nd July and 12th August 1943. 22nd July was when he lost Bf109 F-4 10256 and 12th Aug was when 10132 was lost. There are pictures of 10132 returning from a sorties on his 50th Victory but no definite date.
