Re: Luftwaffe Emblems ?

Some excellent news on this title chaps, LEMB member Luftdad took the opportunity to visit the Crecy stand at IPMS Modelworld at Telford and enquire about this book. The good news is that this will not be a straight forward reprint of the Hikoki title but will be a brand new edition with over 1000 emblems. Also, this new edition is scheduled to be published in March or April 2012...

Cheers

Re: Luftwaffe Emblems ?

Good news indeed Peter

Must be thanks to me, since I have used my spare time to communicate softly with the Lord about this matter....

Hopefully they will do a much better job than with the Stuka book recently published by them....

Cheers
Stig

Re: Luftwaffe Emblems ?

The new revised edition is now available with 112 pages and 1017 emblems, 153 more than the 1st edition. Available from The Book Depository, Aviation Megastore, etc and even Ebay.

Re: Luftwaffe Emblems ?

May I ask if any previously unknown emblems have been given a confirmed identity?

Best,

Re: Luftwaffe Emblems ?

Hello Ed,
I have not taken delivery of this book yet but Peter D. Evans at LEMB has indicated that some emblems labelled as unidentified in the 1998 book have been identified with this new revision.
