Engine cowling for F and G have the same shape, differences are in air scoop and instruments windows. Unfortunately we can't see if it is a triangular window OR if the three rounded ones area was crudely left unpainted.

To my knowledge, no G-2 flew with the B/C/D/E/F canopy model displayed in the photo. The bordfunker position is the same, what changes is the rear portion of the canopy for G-2 and G-4 series.

The D/F loop antenna, as you know John, leads to F series.

Even if I agree with the engine nacelle instrument windows, it is still 2x1 for the F team, and we would still be in a conundrum created by an hybrid airplane.

Unfortunately, since we both aren't on ebay auctions anymore, the possibility of a better analysis of the original or its high res. copy is out of question...?
