Re: Seeking info on service of Bf110C-2 W.Nr. 3002 and it's ultimate fate
3102 for both aircraft on 18th August 1940 is, I believe, from the Quartermaster returns, from which Peter took the information for our 'Zerstörer' published in 1995. I still cannot sort that out.
7.12.42 3./ZG 1 Lt. Harro Douglas (FF) Fw. Herbert Engel (Bf) Bf 110 D-3 S9+GL W. Nr. 4221 Shot down by Flak. Both crew killed. Ssurowikuno Only 3. Staffel loss on this day.

Re: Seeking info on service of Bf110C-2 W.Nr. 3002 and it's ultimate fate
Dear all
Peter: each engine needs fuel and I can recommend several Dutch and Belgian beers which will keep at least me going ![]() Jim: as godfather of all databases I already expected your up to date knowledge and I was (again) not disappointed Clint and John: thank you for the correction of the December 1942 loss, it does make sense because the same Bf110 was with the (inofficial) I./NJG 4 before and had a minor accident on now 16 March 1942 at/near Wjasna which sounds very Russian too. Well, still two 3102 to go... All the best, Marcel
