P-40 wreck found in Egyptian desert

Right we have a P-40-found ..after 70 years.yet we can't trace who? flew it. we have had Dennis coppin-missing-26/6/42-thats it.
yet when a german plane crashes we know in a instant who it his.
serial numbers.etc..this has no RAF-codes seen..clean..
..didnt the German planes if any allied planes seen intact on the ground be destroyed-so not too be repaired again?
the plane seems funny ? maybe a film prop-left in the 50's60's and forgot.
maybe it was flown by a Egyptian flown..post war..and had a prang?
let me know when you do..find out..
