Leendert : as you suggested, I've found as well: - on october 6th the Mosquito MM574 P/O Haley 409 sqn/2TAC was damaged by debris from a Ju-88 and they abandoned the a/c near Brussels & - on october 7th Mosquito MM512 W/O N; JOSS (MIA) 409 sqn/2TAC was hit by "friendly fire, possibly HK 381 (source: Peter Celis' book: Runways to Victory ) Mhuxt: thanks for the really detailed information about 711280 ...but what about the second JU-88 as suggested by Alain 57 : 06-10-44 / /07-10-44 Ju88G-11 NJG1 Werknumber 714460 crewmembers :Kurzec Albert Uffz. + Achenbach Friedrich Gefr. + Blumberg Günther Gefr. + Bobikat Otto Ogefr. + Is there any information about the date & crashsite of this aircraft ? Sorry, I have no further info on the other Ju 88. It might be worth registering at the "Luftwaffe Bullet Board" to see if anyone else does.
