Re: This is a real puzzle ..

Good evening to you all, I call Nicolas V., I am detecting hobby, I am also a member of an association of research aircraft wrecks the 2 nd war called ANSA39/45. I am the inventor of this bague.Je came across this forum doing some research to deepen my data for a particular ceremony a bit. I'll try to keep it short for now, but this ring was found easter day 2006 after several days of research already on the site of the plane crash arthur pfaff. Having found several interesting pieces including instrument panel, Joystick complete Feudor lighter brand, elements of the parachute, and so on of the best for short. Grande accuracy, plane crash July 5, 44 at 9:10 ( authentic chronometer watch) in full drill a few days before he fell P47 U.S. on August 19 in the granny sector and also in places it is mixed with the FW 190.Le problem in this case is that the German aircraft nobody knew of its existence in contrast to the U.S., which was buried in the cemetery of the town before going to st laurent. BTW, this 05 June 2011, a monument was inaugurated in the presence of the brother of the driver, which I could give him the lock of the parachute harness, his son the timer clock (also stop at 9:10) and his little son a few coins found on the same site as the metal elements held in the pilot's. Anyway, I also inform you that this February 22.23 and if all goes well, after several years of research through several people I do not know but I very much time to spend doing research, that the SON ARTHUR driver PFAFF this should come visit the grave of his father, because before long he did not know the story of his father or the place of his grave, and it will move onto the crash site and then I could give him and the famous alliance.Il may just be the show as her mother, said HELGA who still lives at the age of 92 years in Austria and has already view the Photo proxy ring which has itself passed the finger of her husband 44 (it seems she melted into tears despite his condition) in until I resume the path of this forum to give more info if possible, I wish you a good evening

John...

Might I ask you to revisit the thread entitled "Suche nach Fernaufklärungseinheit" of 24 April 2007? There is nothing in the rules of this forum that prohibit the use of a foreign language or insists on the use of English; indeed, even Ruy commented in the above post: "English may be the Lingua Franca of the Internet, it is not the official language of this forum."

It really is quite unacceptable to insist on using English at every turn. Other contributors may not have a command of the language but nonetheless have interesting and informative information they wish to share with us. There are plenty within our ranks who would happily attempt a translation if the request was made. I also understand Nicolas is a relatively new member as well. I personally would not like to make a contribution as a new member to a forum and then be asked to resubmit the entire posting in English. Much to Nicolas' credit that he has done exactly that, but that's not my point.

I do not enjoy taking anyone to task, but please, if you have a problem with a foreign language post, could you be considerate enough to request someone to translate?

Thanks,

Paul

Re: This is a real puzzle ..

My father was shot down over Brittany in his B-17. Lt Helmut Beitz took credit fro the kill. Does anyone know what happened to this man. Did he survive the war, where and for how long? Was he shot down or crashed, where and when? I am writing a book about my father's escape to Spain and the information would be useful.
