Re: FW 200 Condor Photo Wanted.

In two books I have seen 0031 given the codes F8+BT , I am not saying this information is right but this is what has been written .
I am pretty sure NA+WH later carried the codes F8+KH and crashed in 20/8/1940 in Ireland .

Re: FW 200 Condor Photo Wanted.

Hi Steve , I believe that the Condor called " Sirius" was either a C-1 or a C-2 model . The Condor that carried the Werks Nr. 0031 was a C-3 model .
I too am not fully sure what codes 0031 carried , two sets of codes have been quoted , the search goes on !

Re: FW 200 Condor Photo Wanted.

Concerning the NA+W Block it is shared by different planes Fw189/Fw200 nd a Zlin !,
Probably these codes were given at the time where they were at Erpr.Stelle Rechlin, some logic there as the codes were attributed to planes without STKZ, those produce before autumn 1939, at the place where they seated when STKZ system appeared !
Nd codes were attributed to the planes following the alphabetical order so
Fw189 NA+WB
Fw200c-1 NA+WG
Fw200 NA+WR
Zlin NA+WS

Why not a Fw200 NA+WH ? If so you could say that the plane was in Sept/Oct. 39 at Rechlin ! Oder...

Re: FW 200 Condor Photo Wanted.

I have early Fw 200 reg/codes as this:

2000 D-AERE/D-ACON
2484 D-AETA/WL-AETA/F8+GH
2891 ???? (static test ??) *
2893 D-ADHR/GF+GF/D-ADHR/GF+GF/F8+CU
2894 OY-DAM/G-AGAY (DX177)
2895 D-AMHC/WL-AMHC/F8+HH/TK+BS/D-AMHC/TK+BS/F8+DU/F8+MV
2993 OY-DEM
2994 D-ARHW/CB+TY/D-ARHW/CB+TY/F8+EU/CB+TY/F8+NV/D-ARHW
2995 D-ASBK/PP-CBJ
2996 D-AXFO/PP-CBI
3098 D-ACVH/D+ACVH/AC+VH/NK+NM
3099 (D-ARHU) D-2600/WL+2600/26+00
3324 D-ABOD/CB+FB

0001/0008 BS+AF/BS+AM (assigned October 1939)
0009 ??+?? (Finland order. confiscated 11.04.40)
0010 VB+UA (Finland order. confiscated 11.04.40)
0011/0015 BS+AN/BS+AR (assigned October 1939)
0016/0021 NA+WI/NA+WN
0022/0025 BS+AV/BS+AY
0026 SG+KA *
0027/0050 SG+KC/SG+KZ * (or 0050 DE+OE )
0051/0060 DE+OF/DE+OO *
0061/0075 KF+QA/KF+QO *
0076/0100 KE+IA/KE+IY *

*mostly secondary sources, can be incorrect. I am interested in obtaining pilots logs that have Stkz./W.Nr. tieups for the Fw 200´s in this list. Additional Fw 200 D-1/D-2 (Transport version) were included in the main C-1/C-2 series "null-series" numbers range.

0009 (OH+CLA) / xx+xx / D-AEQP (DLH Sept/Nov 40)
0010 (OH-CLB) / VB+UA / D-AFST / VB+UA
0017 (Japan order) NA+WJ
0018 (Japan order) NA+WK
0019 (Japan order) NA+WL/D-ASWK/NA+WL/F8+BU/F8+LV
0020 (Japan order) NA+WM/D-ACWG/NA+WM/F8+GL
0021 (Japan order) NA+WN/D-AMHL/NA+WN/D-AMHL

Further KG 40 code assignments are "slow study in progress".
