Stab I./JG3 became Stab II./JG1: 1./JG3 became 4./JG1 2./JG3 became 5./JG1 3./JG3 became 6./JG1 Reformed Jan 1942 in Wiesbaden-Erbenheim with: Stab I./JG3 from Stab of Ergänzungsgruppe/JG3 1./JG3 from Einsatzstaffel/JG3   2./JG3 new Jabostaffel/JG3: Activated Mar 1942 in San Pietro attached to II./JG3. From Apr 1942 in Martuba with Bf 109F-2/B, and 5 May 1942 absorbed by 10. (Jabo)/JG27. ..."
