I seen that one and I may get it later on. At the moment I'm in a Gladiator mode and was thinking it maybe have less information on just the Gladiator. Rick |

If you are interested in the specific history of the Gladiators, then Cull's book is likely to be preferred, but for setting the conflict in context O'Toole's is better. For modelling purposes O'Toole's provides good profiles and a discussion of the possible colour schemes.
