Hi,

Do we know who the pilot was? The canopy looks sealed enough - I wonder if human remains were found?

Lt.Ivan Baranovsky, and yes his remains were found. He was given a Military funeral...another is no longer missing.

Hi there, I am a US Army soldier, stationed in Germany and am part of a team of aviation archaeologists and divers. The link above is now invalid, is there another place to read about the recovery of above mentioned planes? Thanks a million, Danny
