Bertrand & Stig,


Thank you both for the replies. I'm never really comfortable trusting my own eyes when a photo is unclear. Happily, I was able to avoid any unnecessary exercise as I saw the same numbers as yourselves. I think that the aircraft may be C.2218/16. Alas even knowing that the airfield is Flensburg-Schäferhaus hasn't so far allowed identification of the unit. However, Bertrand knowing your interest in airfields, if you enter that in ebay.de you will get a number of aerial shots.
