Re: KGr.100 August 1940 ??

Hi Robert

I presume that you are referring to Leo's Post 8, and not the above Post 9!

Cheers
Brian

Re: KGr.100 August 1940 ??

Hello Robert,

I refer German loss lists to the GQM loss returns. In this source on 18 Aug 1940 the Lochbrunner crew was reported as MIA on 15 Aug, a half year later this entry was deleted. So a supposedly loss was documented.
I quote your statement "I checked and there is no such loss for 1./KGr.100 in German loss list". What do you mean by German loss list?

Regards
Leo

NVM list. Do you have NVM for this loss?

Regards

Robert

Re: KGr.100 August 1940 ??

Now your statement has become clear to me. You have referred to the not existing NVM list and I have quoted the GQM loss return.

Leo

Re: KGr.100 August 1940 ??

Hi guys

Thanks - most interesting - so, what were the losses that night?

One missing and two crash-landed (including Lochbrunner)? In that case, who were the missing crew?

Cheers
Brian

Re: KGr.100 August 1940 ??

No losses of KGr.100 on 15.8.40.
Three losses in early hours of 16.8.40.
