Hello! Resurrecting this old thread for a question about the forward bases used by KG 6 on this night.
I understand I. and II. Gruppe used Deelen as a forward base, but what airfield did III. Gruppe use?

I understand this was deduced from investigation of aircraft and crews which came down on land; no III Gruppe loss came down on land

III./KG 6 started from Eindhoven. (see KG 6 book edited by Lela Presse).
