Re: 10./JG11 losses on 26Jun44 Eastern Front?

OK, I didn't knwo times for the SG2-claims.

20:00 is pretty bright in June in Europe (if calculated from local time). Moscow 20:00 even means that it is a bit "earlier" in the region under discussion. So, there were still ca. 1-2 hours until sunset.

Ltn. Heinrich Starke, 9./SG 10: Jak-9@ 08 213: 200m
Uffz. Hand, 8./SG 10: LaGG-7@ 95 287: 200m
Hello Yogybär

This claim's seem to be the morning :

26.06.44 Uffz. Hand 8./SG 10 LaGG-9 £ 95 287: at 200 m. 07.55 Film C. 2032/I Anerk: Nr. 1
26.06.44 Ltn. Starke 9./SG 10 Yak-9 £ 08 213: at 200 m. 09.20 Film C. 2032/I Anerk: Nr.

The Yak9 of Jacques Gastom seem to be found in 1964, near Slaveny. The claims of Heinrih Dahne seem to be the best hypothesis. 12 km beetween the claims and the wreck of the Yak.

best regards

Laurent COURTOIS
