Smile Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

I can confirm the Stkz as KO+AW but I have this as a Kl 31. Is this correct?

Thanks
Tom

FYI, Grunau Baby ... flew 2 of the DFS-49 Grunau Baby IIb2 glider version (wider cockpit) on winch tow, open cockpit, many times. Glide ratio of 1:17 or less (optimist). You push one rudder and ... wait for response ... Deep stall and one can look ahead the other way! Landing distance down to just 5 meters, not much wind needed. -Ed

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Gents,

Many thanks for the additional information / corrections. I have included these in my original post.

Christian, the images for the Klemm and Heinkel come from my own collection.

Ed, glad you survived your adventures with the "Baby"!

Cheers,

David

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

This German guy sells low quality repro photos.
I don't have good experience with him.
