Hi primoz, i think Larry Hickey with the EoE group was working on establishing leads as to whether 1H+AC may have been W.Nr.6997 an He111H-4 variant.
Larry had photos showing this a/c in a dismantled state being towed away for repairs. I believe theres a separate thread within the search pages. Best regs, Steve.

Hi...
Just noticed I had the undernoted image in my collection. Not sure if it's helpful and sadly, there are no details as to what date this aircraft was photographed, but it shows the code letters repeated on the wing leading edge and indeed, coded the same as the Heinkel in post #11 - 1H+BC.
