What's more, there are papers in various Bundesarchiv files suggesting that some senior officers weren't convinced that it was worth putting the Do 335 into production except possibly for sea-reconnaissance or as a nightfighter. Like many 'advanced' German aircraft in 1945, many of its technical problems were still unresolved.

There is also a photo of a two-seat Do 335 nightfighter version. Some are too quick to yell fake before checking all of the available facts.
