I guess you have Rapley's pilot, F/O J C Horlock? Can you supply his details? Unfortunately I have ten or more aircrew with 153 Sqn to check. More than I want to drop on you or Paul. Is this just a matter of slogging through the London Gazette for the officers? What about the enlisted men? Enjoy! Frank.

Maybe Ronald Hugh Rapley 1216908 but what date are you enquiring about ?
I think though it is W/O Frank Herbert Rapley #1602664 was the PoW in Horlock crash |

Many thanks for the additional details. And since I have the PDF of MAW5 open on my computer for indexing the Americans, I was able to quickly look up the serial number of the aircraft they were flying with 272 Sqn when they crashed. Enjoy! Frank.
