Hello,
Currently on ebay is a photo of Aviatik B.I (P 13) B.63/13 of FFA 4 at: https://www.ebay.fr/itm/PHOTO-ORIGIN...cAAOSw~75fz7H0 This is a pleasing find as I don't believe that this serial has been previously published. Regards, Clint |

Re: Photo Aviatik B.I
Hello,
Currently on ebay is an intriguing photo AT: https://www.ebay.de/itm/X5813-Foto-W...MAAOSw0iRf1Qmm The aircraft is an Aviatik B.I (P 14?) The propeller has a cover with the script B 38 upon it (B.38/14?/ coincidence?) There is also some harder to read writing nearer to the spinner. Regards, Clint |

Re: Photo Aviatik B.I
Hi Bertrand,
Thanks for trying. I can't make anything of it. How about you. Any thoughts on what it says? Regards, Clint |

Re: Photo Aviatik B.I
Even if the cover script can be deciphered, the evidence for that regarding the actual aircraft would anyway be circumstantial

Re: Photo Aviatik B.I
Hi Stig,
Indeed, but I'll take three pieces of circumstantial evidence, rather than two when I can get them. So, I can't persuade you to take crack at what the wording actually is? Regards, Clint |

Re: Photo Aviatik B.I
Reasonable enough.
So related to this, not too tenuously I hope. Have you come across any Aviatik B machines in the range B.32/14 to B.39/14 other than B.32/14 and B.36/14? Or indeed anything in that range that is not an Aviatik? Regards, Clint |
