Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
The last one is an Erla built Bf 109, probably a G-14, from EJG 1, Salzburg -Maxglan.

that is a riddle to me too. It looks like a He111 and could be a G type with DB600 engines. Of Interesst is also the FdF embleme. Edit: It is identified by Gerhard Stemmer as He111G-2, WNr.3365, DLH D-ADBX, FdF PF+UR. See the topic at LRG: https://www.luftwaffe-research-group...st.4033/page-2

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Hi there! From an old correspondence with Peter Achs I got the info that this is He 111, Werknr. 3365, D-ADBX (ex PF+UR), used by the F.d.F. and flown to Salzburg in the last days of war by a pilot named Zwyna.
There are some unclarities however, as the site stammkennzeichen.de has the Werknummer of PF+UR as 3229 (On the other hand, the site also lists this plane as a H-variant, while it is obviously a He 111 G). I leave it to others to shed more light on this, though... |
