Good morning,

I think Steve may be right. I think I see a final "4" in this photograph.

My pleasure, Nick. This photo album gifted by Efrem Ostrowski to the USHMM has some unique views from the planes found at Innsbruck.

Cheers

I'm not sure that I understand? Where is there a "4" in the link you provided? (Both engine inlet cowlings damaged on lower side. Nose gear collapse?)

I'm also confused with if you think the above photos are the same aircraft as this one? (Hard to tell if engine inlet cowling is damaged. The brush/grass/weeds look different compared to the above.)

Hi Revi,

http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/album....&pictureid=713

Perhaps this photo gives a better perspective of the damaged cowlings and flattened nosecone.

While I also have the photo you show, I think mine has better resolution and I think I see a "4" at the Sergeant's knee level.

Jim

PS I'm having trouble seeing the picture I just posted. My fault, working now.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Nice find, yes, I agree for Fw190, Ju87 and 219 as for the 262s, sorry, nothing new for me
I agree with Steve about the last digit, can be 500534 though.

Cheers,
Franck.

Except of course for the new rear view of the blown-up Ju 87, even thought its code cannot be read; and the new view of Ju 87 “yellow G” parked half in the barn. Also, a very clear shot of the unmarked Fw 190.
