Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Very interesting. I have AE 479 as a E-3 WNr 1304. At least the tail unit seems to originate from WNr 1980, a E-4 also from Erla.

Very interesting for sure! Are US/UK documents known, where the WNr. 1304 is written for the AE 479.

Currently I want to say, that we got two different planes.

E-4 WNr. 1980

Who has loss informations for the WNr. 1980?

Some 1304 info here, but nothing on 1980.

Indeed.
1304 didn't have the WNr. at that position. There's a bug, somewhere.

Thank you all for your replies.
Unfortunately that was the only photograph of German aircraft in the album so I can't add any more.

Most welcome, Gerry. Collective knowledge is crucial, as always.
One last question on my side: any way to know where this photo was taken in Italy ?

Cheers
Marc
