Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Hello Rudi,
Posts #4538 and #4539 - For what it’s worth, I have an additional photo of Fw 200 “Rheinland” that says on the back that it was taken at (Enisatzhafen I) Pocking, Germany. Respectfully, Steve Sheflin |

Dan,
This white 12 appears to be in Austria, is that right? Ed |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Hello Rudi,
I believe that 31_+ in Post #4542 is another photo of Erla-Leipzig-built Bf 109 G-14, WNr. 464221, marked 316+ black or red, outlined white, and found abandoned at Bad Wörishofen, Germany. Other photos of this aircraft in my possession show its plane number clearly, but because of the angle of the sun, and a poorly exposed negative, its scrabble camouflage scheme is not apparent. However, after comparing it technical details; the number and type of metal detritus scatter nearby; the presence of its relative-rare fuselage-spine-mounted antenna mast; and the position of its plane numeral “3” and the rear corner of its cockpit, I believe that they are one and the same. As always, I welcome corrections and additions. Respectfully, Steve Sheflin |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Steve,
it definitely looks like there is a third digit but I doubt it's a 6. Looks more like a 5 to me.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
It sure looks like Innsbruck Hotting Ed, but the hills in those views seem a little low. Abling? |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
#4543: This is definitely Innsbruck-Hötting (applies to White 12). The hills in the background match this photo, which was definitely taken in Innsbruck-Hötting
The highest hills are not visible due to the poor quality photo (or lighting conditions when taking photo) |
