FE-4600/T2-4600 Henschel Hs 129B-1/R2 W Nr unknown

Also listed as EB-105. EB for Evaluation Branch at Wright Field.

"This aircraft was recorded as being at Wright Field from 20th August 1943. It seems likely that it was captured in North Africa.

"It is known to have been shipped from Wright Field to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for reassembly and restoration to flying condition on 27th March 1944. To FE-4600..."

There is another captured Hs 129, but looks different - but captured during operation in North Africa:

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Remi

According to the seller it is WNr 3879

Cheers
Stig

PS: I cannot locate this one straight ahead in MAW 1, but since Herrn Bock did not belong to the team at that point, I believe lots of Luftwaffe data is missing from the book.
One possibility is 28 Jan 1942 where a III./ZG 26 Bf 110 (no WNr) is said to have crash landed north of Ghemines.
If that is not it, at least I cannot see it.
