Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Stig,
An excerpt from The Race for Hitler's X-Planes. Scroll down about halfway. https://erenow.net/ww/the-race-for-h...-planes/16.php AM 79 is identified as an Me 262A. |

That is about the same stand point already known in 1977 and is of no use at all in this context. Cheers Stig |

However the site tries to ID WNr 111007 with AM 80 while this one has always in the past been identified as WNr 111690. I have not seen anything else which changes that. Have you? Cheers Stig |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Yes. I have AM80 as W.Nr.111690, White 5. 2./JG 7. AM79 is Me 262A, but there is still some confusion
I have W.Nr.110007 as Yellow 5+I, 11./JG 7 (according to the photo) |

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes
Sorry Matolion
I don't buy that AM 79 was a Me 262....yet..... ![]() Where is the proof? It is not enough that guesses have been made in the past. Where is the document (or photo!) which proves that? Cheers Stig |
