Re: Photo Morane Saulnier
Hello,
Currently on delcampe are two photos of a Morane Saulnier Type N flown by Jean Casale of N 23. Has anyone the number of this machine? https://www.delcampe.net/fr/collecti...986017776.html https://www.delcampe.net/fr/collecti...986017239.html Regards, Clint |

Re: Photo Morane Saulnier
Hi Clint
To me the aircraft looks much more like a Morane-Saulnier Type AC. From where do you get the unit as Esc N.23? Nothing on Casale I'm afraid Cheers Stig |

Re: Photo Morane Saulnier
Hi Stig,
You're correct. It is a Type AC. Not to self, don't rush posts just because dinner is almost ready As for the escadrille being N 23, the date on the back of the first photo May 1917 covers the period which this site has him with N 23. https://www.as14-18.net/Casale Regards, Clint |
