Re: Losses in the last days of the Reich

Hi all,

after digging into my archives, i have also found an other war diary (T 321, roll 50) documenting some aircraft losses of the Lw during the month of February 1945.

I am starting with 01.02.1945

regards
Byron

Re: Losses in the last days of the Reich

Hi Byron,

Not as clear as formers but no problem at all; at least concerning the three NAG 8 losses. .

Thank you again Byron.

Hello Byron,

First, thank you ever so much for posting this superb data. Second, and I hate to be the one to do this, but perhaps the result of my advanced age, I can't make head or tails of your last postings.

Re: Losses in the last days of the Reich

Hello Byron,

Thanks ... And thanks again.
In this last document I read two corrections concerning Stab JG 52 and 1./NAG 2. Do you have the "originals" somewhere?
Somebody else has?

Thank you.

Cheers, franck.

Re: Losses in the last days of the Reich

Kalimera Byron,

The latest scan you posted is clear to read and provides a fascinating insight! For all 109 fans lie myself, you can note the mistakes made at the time by the clerks as in this instance no 25, on 31 January; Bf 109 G-10 W.Nr. 786 496 is in fact...a Mtt-Regensburg produced Bf 109 G-14!

This certainly puts some balm to all 109'ologists who keep - like myself - on making ID errors;-)))

Thanks again for your work
Marc

A question: What means "KPV" in the (here translated) sentence

Not KPV, but wounded.
