Back on business ..
Don't know the picture you're talking about Sidney; anyway Here is what I've collected about Baslovo.

Baslovo Pervoye, Vtoroye and Novoye Baslovo I listed before are in the same area if not the same city. (see distance on one of the photos)
However, There is a second Baslovo (Baslovo 2).

Got no more.

To come back on loss report:
I Wonder how Dr. Prien was able to publish <<- when the report told <. Insight or did he get the photo before publishing?

One can say there is an error in loss report about that marking; Indeed.
But one can say there is an error concerning the WNr.
... And one error is not better than the other one.

Franck, the photo I am talking about is the one you open this discussion with in Post No.1. I have scanned it focusing on certain areas of it, such as the German soldier standing/posing next to the tail of the belly-landed Bf 109 F-4 and wooden planks identifying the settlement and apparently the German unit that occupied it (on the far left side of the photo). Trust that this clarifies the issue.
