Re: Photo Spad
Agree Clint
I am mystified by the digit. The upper part looks like a 7 while the lower part looks like a 2. Or did they switch to letters and we have a Z? Cheers Stig |

Re: Photo Spad
Stig,
Given the that the wing partially obscures the figure any answer must necessarily be speculative, but it looks too long to be a zed.Could it be two sevens joined end to end? Regards, Clint |

Re: Photo Spad
Stig,
Here is a tactical '2' of SPABi 60.. Although the lower half of the numeral looks like our machine, the top of the figure is distinctive. So perhap, only perhaps, ruling out a 2 as the figure on 'our' machine. https://www.airwar.ru/image/idop/fww.../spad16-11.jpg Regards, Clint |

Re: Photo Spad
Anything is possible Clint
But if both had the same SFA number then the tactical code number has changed. Your opposed digit 7s feels somehow better even if I don't understand the point with it.... Cheers Stig |

Re: Photo Spad
More likely to be a stylised 3 I think, something like this Slab.
