6./LG 1 loss 29.03.1941

Hello

Does anyone know how exactly the cause of loss of Ju 88 from 6./LG 1 on the mentioned date recorded in GQM loss list or similar primary source?

Gen.Qu. loss report from 1 April 1941 No. 5:

29.3. 6./LG 1 Feindflug, Ort: Golf von Tarent, Ursache: unbekannt (cause of loss: unknown) Ju 88 A-5 6254 L1+EP 100%

F Uffz Georg Kunz vermisst
Bo Gefr Fritz Schmidt vermisst
Bf Uffz Walter Fischer vermisst
Bs Gefr Josef Leitermann vermisst.

Correction from 31 October 1942:
Uffz Kunz für tot erklärt.

The Fulmars were in combat with III./KG 30 and recce Ju 88's (from 1.(F)/121 ?). These actions were far to the southeast from the Gulf of Taranto, were 6./LG 1 aircraft was lost

"Air War For Yugoslavia, Greece And Crete" is a great book and still useful but it is 30 years old now
