Do 17 lost 23.01.1940

Good morning gentelemen,

the Stab/ I./ KG 3 lost this day a Do 17 Z-3 over England. Three men dead.
Can anybody help with the names? Sorry I have no NVM's.

Gentlemen,

i have only this date. I Think. 1941 is more posiible, but I have no loss of KG 3 for 23.02.1941.

Definitely not 23 Jan 40-first Do 17s were not seen over UK until start of July 1940.I can see nothing 22-24 Jan 41 or 22-24 Feb 41. You need to quote your source for this mysterious loss

Could it be the Do 17 S-0 WNr 2052 of 1.(F)/OdBL intercepted over the Channel off Dover (the closest I could think of as "over England" for this period) and then crash-landing near Calais? Date was not 23 January 1940 but 13 January (one typo character away).
