bmw801 Reims search info

Hello everyone,
a few years back, this bmw801 engine was unearthed on the basis of Reims. Currently it rots under a shed in Auménancourt-le-Grand. I wanted to know if these numbers can help you authenticate some aircraft.
cordially
Joel

No, these are standard components for the BMW 801. In this case for the C-2 and D-2. (Kopfleitblech Druckbelüftungsanlage). Sorry but I don`t have a equivalent translation in english.

Hi Joel and Kaczmarek,

Roughly translates to, Head baffle pressure ventilation system.

Respectfully,

Steve Sheflin

PS: Is there a known Motornummer for this engine?

Hi again Joel and Kaczmarek,

The Hersteller illustrated in you photo, “Klatte Huchting,” is: Klatte, Theodore, Metallwarenfabrik, Bremen-Huching, Hersteller (jdo).

They were producers of sheet metal parts for aircraft and engine exhaust manifolds.

Respectfully,

Steve Sheflin
